Philip found Nathanael and told him, “We have found the one Moses and the prophets wrote about—Jesus, son of Joseph, from Nazareth.”

Nathanael asked, “Can anything good come out of Nazareth?”

Philip replied, “Come and see.”

When Jesus saw Nathanael approaching, He said, “Here is a true Israelite, in whom there is no duplicity.”

Nathanael asked, “How do You know me?”

Jesus answered, “I saw you while you were still under the fig tree before Philip called you.”

Nathanael declared, “Rabbi, You are the Son of God; You are the King of Israel!”

Jesus said, “You believe because I told you I saw you under the fig tree? You will see greater things than that. Amen, amen, I say to you, you will see heaven opened, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man.”

𝘼 𝙋𝙧𝙖𝙮𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙏𝙤𝙙𝙖𝙮’𝙨 𝙂𝙤𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙡

Lord Jesus,

Thank You for knowing me completely and loving me as I am. Strip away any duplicity, doubt, or prejudice in my heart, and give me a sincere faith that seeks Truth above all else.

When I am hesitant or skeptical, grant me the grace to respond to Your gentle call to "come and see." Help me to be like Philip, inviting others to encounter You not through harsh words, but through patience and love. Open my eyes today so that I may see Your presence in the ordinary moments and trust in the greater things You have prepared for me.

Amen.
