JUST SURVIVING
"You're worthless"
"You are fat"
"You're aimless"
"You're stupid"
Different day but always the same situation. Blessed to wake up and go to school every morning yet cursed to go home without being in pain.
How can I escape this overwhelming battle that has no opponent?
How can I get revenge when my enemy is the sharp and cruel words others said to me?
It does not hurt because it's true, but because it came from the people I least expected to. The people I treated like a family. My classmates.
Going to school is enjoyable, fun, and exciting for others, but for me, it is like a never ending track, it's exhausting and painful. It feels like I'm running without stopping, just surviving. It's funny how their harsh and mean words hurt more than a thousand slap on the face. For us, not being able to wake up is not scary anymore, on the other hand, it can be our way to escape from this cycle.
I always think that death was the escape we wanted but I realized that KINDNESS is the real and only way to stop it. The people who showed kindness to me gave me hope. Hope that their are still people that appreciate me, love and believe in me.
Everyone is in a different situation, everyone has their own problems, has their own burden, and they are dealing with it every single day. The words that you think is unimportant can be a huge struggle to someone.
So Be Kind, Be Compassionate, Be Thoughtful because BULLYING can destroy confidence but KINDNESS can restore dignity.
