CHAPTER
Unnatural returns with a new chapter.
Following the success of its first volume, Unnatural Volume 2: The New Chapter continues the
exploration of art that exists beyond the expected…works that are not in accordance with nature
or consistent with the normal course of events. It is a celebration of the unreal, the surreal, the
distorted, and the imagined: a space where artists are free to challenge reality and create their
own.
The first chapter of Unnatural became more than an exhibition. It became a point of discovery.
Several artists who participated in Volume 1 were subsequently noticed and discovered by
different galleries, art managers, collectors, and members of the art community. What began as
a gathering of unconventional ideas became a platform that opened doors and created new
possibilities for the artists involved.
Now, The New Chapter carries that momentum forward.
This second volume brings together artists who approach the concept of the unnatural through
distinctly different visual languages. Some transform the human figure into something unfamiliar;
others abandon recognizable forms altogether through abstraction. Sculptors extend the idea
into three-dimensional space, creating objects and figures that appear to exist somewhere
between reality and imagination.
There is no single definition of what makes an artwork unnatural.
It may be found in a figure that bends beyond human proportions, a familiar object placed in an
impossible reality, an abstract composition that rejects recognizable order, or a sculpture that
seems to have emerged from another world. The unnatural can be strange, beautiful, unsettling,
playful, dreamlike, or even absurd.
Unnatural Volume 2 is therefore not simply a continuation of the first exhibition, but an
evolution.
The old chapter introduced artists and opened doors. The New Chapter asks what happens
when those artists, and those who now join them, push even further beyond the boundaries of
what is familiar.
The exhibition brings together figurative, abstract, surreal, and sculptural approaches,
creating a dialogue between different interpretations of reality. Each artist presents a personal
departure from the ordinary, inviting viewers to question what they recognize and reconsider
what they believe is possible.
If the natural world follows a certain order, art has the freedom to disrupt it.
Unnatural Volume 2: The New Chapter is about that disruption—the moment when reality
breaks apart and imagination takes over.
A new chapter.
New visions.
New discoveries.
Still beautifully Unnatural.
