The Spirit of Ginhawa in Every Region

The success of the 14th year of Design Week Philippines was co-created with our 145 partners who shared their own talks, workshops, tours, and experiences.

We felt the warmth of creativity, community, and collaboration across the country, with more than 100 events held in 45 municipalities and cities across 17 regions.

Our gratitude goes beyond words — may the spirit of ginhawa continue to inspire us to design for a more flourishing future.

See you again next year for another festive celebration of Design Week Philippines!

Design Week Philippines 2025 may have concluded, but our shared journey towards ginhawa continues.🌸

For one inspiring week, we celebrated Philippine design through talks, workshops, tours, and immersive experiences. Ayala Triangle Gardens became our official festival grounds of creativity, collaboration, and care during the Design Fair last 18 October.

But the celebration didn't stop in Makati. From Bontoc to Tawi-Tawi, 145 partner organizations, MSMEs, and hubs joined the movement with their own events, across 45 municipalities and cities in 17 regions.

Thank you to everyone who took part in this year’s Design Week Philippines, where we celebrated a way of creating that prioritizes collective well-being and supports human flourishing.🌿

Let's continue to design a flourishing future, together.

See you next year—10-17 October 2026!

Tambuli: A Soundwalk Experience🎶

Unfolding within the layered terrain of Ayala Triangle Gardens, Tambuli transforms the city into an instrument of reflection and sensory resonance. Each composition draws from the sonic textures and spatial histories of Makati—echoes of prayer benches, playground laughter, rustling leaves, and passing footsteps—to construct an auditory cartography of place and memory. Through the interplay of field recordings, ambient soundscapes, and traditional motifs, the project invites listeners to perceive the urban landscape as a living, breathing entity.

Anchored in the spirit of Ginhawa—ease, breath, and well-being—Tambuli encourages slow listening and presence, offering a momentary release from the city’s rhythm. The experience seeks to expand how we imagine and inhabit space, where architecture, ecology, and emotion intertwine through sound.

Let’s listen and feel the city differently at the Design Fair tomorrow. See you!
