University of Makati Chorale The official resident chorale of the University of Makati under the Center for Culture and the Arts.

The University of Makati Chorale (also known as UMak Chorale or UMC) is the official resident chorale organization of the University of Makati (UMak) under the Center for Culture and the Arts (CCA). Established in 2003, the organization upholds cultural responsibility through arts within and outside the university. It also gives honor to the university and the city of Makati. s to mold each student in becoming a better artist – specifically, a great singer – while also obtaining skills and knowledge in becoming a competent trainer and honed leader that will correspond to the goals and ambitions of the CCA office and UMak. This includes foreseeing to sing not only to entertain and honor the university but also to inspire and change perceptions of each student listening to the craft and works of the ensemble. It also aims to expose its talented members within and outside the university premises via national and international competitions, trained through various workshops, trainings and rehearsals.
