An evening of music, culture, and meaningful collaboration. ✨🎶

Last May 14, 2026, Gallery MiraNila became a memorable celebration of Filipino musical heritage through a special Kundiman with a one-night-only performance featuring Filipino-American opera singer Arthur Espiritu, alongside soprano Stefanie Quintin and pianist Najib Ismail. 🎤🎹

This event is in collaboration with Gallery MiraNila by The Blue Leaf and MiraNamin Nest together with the Philippine-Italian Association. From assisting guests to ushering attendees throughout the program, PIA interns proudly volunteered during the event, gaining valuable experience in event coordination, hospitality, and professional engagement while witnessing world-class performances up close.

The evening was filled with heartfelt performances, elegant ambiance, and a shared appreciation for Filipino artistry and classical music.

Here are some snippets from the unforgettable night that celebrated culture, music, and community. 🇵🇭✨

🎬 Opening the curtains for the Italian Film Feature of Cine Europa Philippines 2026! 🇮🇹✨

In collaboration with the Embassy of Italy in the Philippines, we proudly present Gloria! Set in 1800 Venice, where a struggling conductor at the Sant’Ignazio music institute struggles to finish a composition for the Pope Pius VII’s while the overlooked mute maid, Teresa, hides extraordinary talent. Gloria honors the many gifted women composers throughout history whose work was ignored in favor of their male counterparts.

‘Tis the season to enjoy European movies! 🇪🇺🎬

The European Union in the Philippines launched its Cine Europa 2026 by holding a press conference at the Red Carpet Cinema, Shangri-la Plaza last May 14, 2026.

Each delegate from the member states shared the movie that they chose this year and its brief overview. This year’s Cine Europa highlights the diversity in the different themes of the movies.

On that same day, they screened the first film, “Lampo the Travelling Dog” from Poland. The movie screening for Manila will run until June 3, 2026 and will resume on June 15-20, 2026 at Rizal Park.

Sounds like a date, right? See you there! 🍿
