✨ Creative Drama for Awana Leaders ✨

Last May 31, 2026, Shine for Him Theatre held its first Creative Drama training for Awana Leaders at Sagpatan Fundamental Baptist Church, Ilocos Norte.

We were blessed with 24 participants, joined by leaders from SFBC and Upon This Rock Fundamental Baptist Mission of Tagtabagan, Ilocos Norte.

🙏 Praise God for this opportunity to equip leaders as better storytellers of the Gospel—using drama as a powerful tool to share His Word with clarity, creativity, and conviction.

📖 May this training inspire more leaders to shine His light through the arts and impact their communities for Christ!

🌟 Calling all students in Taguig, Makati, Pasig, and nearby areas! Shine for Him is thrilled to partner with Fortridge Asian School for an exciting 5-day journey into the world of performance.

If your child loves to tell stories, perform, or just needs a boost of confidence, this workshop is designed for them!

📖 What We’ll Explore: Expressive Speech & Acting
We’re diving deep into the art of communication.

Students will learn:
Vocal Dynamics: Mastering projection, clarity, and tone.
Character Development: How to step into someone else's shoes.
Stage Presence: Building the confidence to own the spotlight!

Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 NN

Participants: Ages 10 and up (Grade 3 to Senior High School) Minimum of 5 students, max of 20

To God be the Glory!

"But whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life." — John 4:14

Looking back at this theatre season at Manila Baptist Church, Our heart are simply full. It was a humbling privilege to help bring Deborah Craig-Claar’s "Never Thirst Again" to the stage for Resurrection Sunday. More than just a production, it was a beautiful season of ministry and worship.

We are so grateful to Ptr. Christian Sampol and the entire Music and Drama Ministry for allowing us to be a small part of what God is doing in your church. It was truly a blessing to serve alongside you "for such a time as this."

A Heart for Service 🎭
The real heart of this production was the people. To the Cast: Praise God for your commitment to sharing the Gospel through your roles. To the Youth who comprised our production staff: We were so moved by your hard work behind the scenes. It was indeed encouraging! Whether you were handling stage management, production design, or the technical aspects, your servant-hearts made everything possible.

We believe effective storytelling starts with the heart. As Colossians 3:16 says:

"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly..." When the Word lives in you, your teaching becomes a natural overflow of joy and creativity!

"The best visual aid in any classroom is a leader whose heart is visibly moved by the story they are telling."

When we teach with a heart transformed by the Word, our students don't just hear the message—they feel its power. As Psalm 119:11 says, "I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you." Let's be leaders who are first moved by Him so we can move the hearts of the next generation.
