Pineapple Lab is a creative art space and gallery dedicated to finding innovative ways to showcase the works of Filipino art makers, international artists and collaborators. Located in Barangay Poblacion in Makati City, Pineapple Lab situates itself in the heart of one of Metro Manila’s oldest historic districts and center of business and entertainment. Since opening in July of 2015, Pineapple Lab

has produced original programming designed to challenge the artists’ processes and engage audiences in meaningful discourse. It has collaborated with local and international cultural organizations to bring in dynamic works and give full access to the local community. As part of its commitment in fostering new artists, Pineapple Lab offers a residency program for local and international performing and multi-media artists and collectives. The artist residency program accepts applications from artists at different levels of their development while they continue to hone and craft their works in the Philippines.

Say HELLO to the four fine fantastic folks who have recently joined our Virtual Intership Program - Volume 6!💥

Isaiah is an ambitious and driven filmmaker who also loves to create graphic illustrations. He loves to explore outside his comfort zone by being involved with the local art and hip-hop scene. Make sure to wave and smile when he points his camera at you!

𝗠𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗱
A photographer in search for his creative identify through integrating himself with the people around him and the environment. Through drawing with light, he is aspiring to tell a story that transcends time. A narrative strong enough to weave our identities.

𝗭𝗼𝗲
As an avid consumer of storytelling, Zoe has found comfort and confidence in expressing herself through writing. Currently, she also tells stories through spaces as she's taking up Interior Design — a program that challenges and satiates her creativity.

Yel is a multimedia artist who likes to try out things he'll probably regret in the end (not this internship, though). He loves collecting all sorts of things like different species of plants, vinyl records, stickers, and unfinished artworks.

Stay tuned for the magic we’ll be making together over the next few weeks as we have some fun things planned (& you’re all invited!).

How to get to Pineapple Lab:

From MRT Guadalupe Station, you can ride a jeep that says L. Guinto and ask to get dropped at Villena. From there, you can ride a tricycle or walk up the road of R. Palma Street. We're right across Rural Kitchen and the name of the building is Galeria Lagman.
