In celebration of History Month, we’re holding back-to-back Curator’s Tours this August 22 (Sat) and August 23 (Sun)!

Almost a month into the run of "Turning Tides: Maritime Encounters and Exchanges of Power," we asked our visitors to share their thoughts, insights, and favorite moments inside the gallery.

Join us this Sunday afternoon (August 16) for a free curator’s talk on our 2F changing exhibition, "At the Helm, On the Forefront: Doing More for the Philippines"!

Featuring works by National Artistsβ€”including Benedicto "BenCab" Cabrera, Ang Kiukok, Arturo Luz, and Abdulmari Imaoβ€”from the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) collection, this exhibition affirms the vital role of art in reflecting our nation's identity and aspirations.

Curator Kenneth Esguerra will share the curatorial process and stories behind the selection of these pieces, as well as stories behind the paintings themselves. After the talk, guests are welcome to explore the exhibition and ask sir Ken any questions they may have about the works.

"At the Helm, On the Forefront" runs until August 30, 2026. Admission to the exhibition is free.
