Our Story
B-Side began as a vision of what its founders were seeking in a music venue - a place where they could hang with like-minded freethinkers and play their preferred music, without any airs nor pretense. With its crew, it quickly became one of the bastions of the subterranean & independent music, culture & arts scene in the country. From industry insiders to music enthusiasts of varying degrees, it became more than just a venue and instead a community for talent & creativity.
An offshoot of this venue & community, B-Side Productions is a boutique entertainment & events company that prides itself in its grassroots origins as well as the good will & long-standing relationships it has nurtured with bands, DJs, performers, producers and the like, from those up-and-coming to those well-established.
One of its flagship projects is the annual Fete de la Musique - a music & arts festival in featuring over 800 acts across 52 independently-produced simultaneous genre-based stages around Makati plus several main stages around Manila and 6 other cities in the Philippines, completely free and open to the public - which it has been co-producing with Alliance Francaise de Manille and the French Embassy since 2011.
Since then, B-Side Productions has grown to provide various services to and collaborate with artists, clients and co-creators of all shapes and sizes. Today, it continues to pursue its vision of bringing people & communities together through music, culture & art.
