One week to go before Bantayog: Alaala at Gunita takes the stage at the Power Mac Center Black Box Theater.

Presented as part of the Palanca Awardees Residency Program, this limited staged reading cycle brings two compelling works to audiences, exploring memory, loss, and remembrance.

Villa, written by Guillermo Calderón and translated and directed by Giancarlo Abrahan, delves into the weight of memory and the difficult questions that emerge when confronting the past.

Desaparesidos, adapted from Lualhati Bautista’s novel by Guelan Varela-Luarca, explores disappearance, remembrance, and the lives shaped by what is left behind. Directed by Kat Batara and Guelan Varela-Luarca.
