Meet Sheila Osmeña-Go, one of Galerie Joaquin’s featured artists for MoCAF 2026, with her special exhibit, “The Garden Beneath.”

A mother, wife, and practicing artist, Sheila's creative journey is rooted in both passion and purpose. From designing prom dresses for classmates and sketching action figures in her youth, to formally pursuing painting in 2015 through watercolor, oil, and acrylic, her artistic practice has become a reflection of curiosity, compassion, and service.

Beyond the studio, Sheila has used art as a force for good; auctioning works to support children with cancer, helping raise funds for communities in Cebu during the pandemic, and contributing to exhibitions benefiting the deaf-mute community through Rotary Club initiatives. A Psychology graduate from Cebu Doctors University, her artistic promise was recognized early when she earned first place in a university-wide poster-making competition, leading to an invitation to pursue Fine Arts at UP Cebu.
