When space and passion come together, little moments like these can create a wave of creative pursuit 🪄
Hello everyone, I’m Dime! You’ve probably seen me on TikTok doing silly skits or sweating in our pop-ups, but I’m the person behind running (feels more like marathoning 🏃♂️) Wet Market: Art Market.
It wasn’t long ago when I was cleaning my room (as every creative should 🙈) and I found all these memorabilia from 9 years ago. It took me back when I was still studying and wanted to sell art. When Common Room PH | Handmade & Local Goods was opening in ATC, I literally told my parents that I NEED to go. After they opened up a series of workshops, I was particularly interested in the one about work and passion. I was surprised that it was only me at the workshop but I had the most meaningful talk about being a creative and how to start your journey. 🫶
Fast forward to the present (that makes me sound old 🫥), I wanted to share a platform where creatives can learn and share knowledge with each other. Creating creative communities to inspire artists and the public came naturally to me. I love talking to artists and asking how they conceptualize their work while I give them insights into the market and strategies. Wet Market has developed into a place where collaboration and imagination flow freely. I am forever thankful to Common Room for helping artists and creatives develop into who they are today. 💙
