As a multimedia artist it is important to feel represented. When Lee Caces was approached by Vans he felt honored and trusted to play around with his designs to bring Vans closer to the Filipino audience. Vans is his go to brand on a day to day basis, a durable shoe that is made for the fast-paced urban lifestyle. He immersed himself into Filipino mythology and the brand, and decided on the Bakunawa. A serpent god that represent how the Bakunawa watches over us but comes with reprocution.
