🌟 STEM futures start with a single door opened.

At Texas Instruments, we believe every student deserves the chance to explore what's possible in STEM — and that belief drives everything we do in our communities.

Through STEM PossibiliTI: Opening Doors to STEM Futures, TI Philippines' flagship community program for 2026, our Explore program welcomed 78 Grade 11 & 12 students from Mil-An National High School in Baguio City for a hands-on afternoon of learning, discovery, and real-world inspiration.

Here's what the students experienced:
🔍 STEM Career Readiness Workshop — Preparing students for real-world scenarios in the workplace.
🏭 TI Industry Immersion — A peek into the world of semiconductors through a fun, up-close show and tell.
🎤 STEM Career Motivation — TI volunteers walked alongside students through every activity, opening up about their own experiences and reminding them that the path to STEM is one they don't have to walk alone.

Because when young people see themselves in STEM, the possibilities are limitless. 💡

🚗⚡ A smarter solution for the future of electric vehicles — and it starts with a single sensor.

EV engineers know the challenge all too well: traditional coreless current sensors keep traction inverter systems lighter, but vibrations can throw off accuracy when it matters most.

So instead of accepting that trade-off, we rethought the architecture entirely.
Introducing TI's multiaxial, coreless current sensor, engineered to deliver both compact design and precision in one breakthrough solution:

✅ Coreless design that optimizes space utilization without compromising system integrity
✅ 20x better accuracy than single-axis, coreless alternatives, even under real-world vibration conditions
✅ Precise torque control for longer driving range and a smoother ride experience

For EV engineers across the Philippines and Southeast Asia helping to shape the region's electric mobility future, this is the kind of innovation that changes what's possible. 🌏

AI is becoming physical, and humanoid robots are one of the most striking examples. 🤖

Think about everything your hand does when you pick up a cup of coffee. Now, think about the engineering feats needed to replicate this motion in humanoids. Intelligent sensing, real-time processing, and precise motor control all have to work together seamlessly at the system level for humanoids to function in the real world.

We know that making robots that can operate safely and reliably outside of controlled environments is not just an AI challenge; it's a semiconductor challenge. So we asked our robotics experts what it takes to enable the next generation of humanoid robots, and how chip innovations are solving some of the biggest engineering challenges in humanoids.

What part of humanoid robotics do you think is closest to being solved? Swipe through to see how our experts are thinking about it, and check out the comments for more insights.

💡 From idea to breakthrough

On September 12, 1958, Jack Kilby solved a fundamental problem that engineers were facing as electronic systems became more complex.

His solution was to build an entire circuit from a single piece of semiconductor material. That didn’t just fix the problem in front of him. It created a foundation for technologies that didn’t even exist yet.

Cars that navigate roads. Robots that respond to their surroundings. Spacecraft that communicate across millions of miles. AI systems processing massive amounts of data. None of it happens without that one breakthrough.

That is the remarkable thing about a foundational innovation: its greatest impact often arrives years later, when technology is applied to problems that did not yet exist. Semiconductors may be invisible inside the products they enable, but they are the magical black boxes that enable the technologies we rely on every day.

As technologies converge, innovations can also move across industries.

Semiconductor expertise developed for automotive high-voltage systems, for example, is now helping engineers address the growing power demands of AI data centers. Just as Kilby never imagined the full impact of his invention, engineers today cannot yet know where their work will lead.

What breakthrough do you think semiconductors will enable next?

🧠❄️ AI workloads generate serious heat.

Here's how data centers keep up.
As AI processing demands grow, traditional air cooling alone is no longer enough. Next-gen liquid cooling architectures are becoming essential to dissipate heat and maintain system stability.

TI's technologies are designed to manage every layer of thermal management across the data center stack:
🔹 Precision sensing that continuously monitors temperature, humidity, and pressure to help prevent leaks and detect anomalies early
🔹 Motor drivers and microcontrollers delivering reliable, real-time control of pumps, fans, and cooling loops
🔹 Edge AI and sensor fusion that identifies subtle system patterns before they escalate into failures

Together, these solutions help data center engineers maximize uptime and efficiency as AI infrastructure continues to scale.
