The Philippines deserves progress that is transparent, sustainable, and truly beneficial to its people.
While the Pax Silica Initiative promises investment, jobs, and technological advancement, these should never come at the expense of our environment, natural resources, Indigenous communities, or national interest. As a country rich in critical minerals and ecological wealth, we must ensure that any development protects our water, land, and futureโnot simply our economy.
Questioning Pax Silica is not rejecting progress. It is demanding accountability, transparency, and responsible development that puts the Filipino people first.
Declining on this matter doesnโt mean saying NO to progress.
It means saying YES to protecting our land, our people, and our future.
Progress must serve the Filipino people โ Not the other way around.
