Sibul ning Kalalangan successfully held its August Art Session at Tabnuan on the afternoon of August 15, 2026, at the 2nd Floor of the Mabalacat City Cultural Center, featuring the workshop โBasic Comic Illustration: Stick Figures, Rhythm, Mass, and Muscles.โ
The session was facilitated by Sibul ning Kalalanganโs Founder and Adviser, Mr. Dodjie Aguinaldo, who shared his knowledge and techniques in developing the fundamental elements of comic illustration.
The activity is part of Sibul ning Kalalanganโs Monthly Art Session, an ongoing initiative that aims to make art education more accessible to the community. Through a variety of art-related topics, the program seeks to discover and nurture emerging artists, promote art appreciation and cultural awareness, strengthen the teaching and mentoring skills of its members, and encourage young artists to organize and lead creative initiatives.
More importantly, the program provides an avenue for sharing and preserving artistic knowledge by passing skills and experiences from one generation of artists to the nextโhelping build a stronger, more connected, and supportive art community in Mabalacat City.
But the August sessions don't end here. Sibul ning Kalalangan will continue its Art at Tabnuan series with two more sessions this month:

We invite artists, art enthusiasts, and members of the community to join us in these upcoming sessions and continue learning, creating, and connecting through art.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated in this month's opening session and helped make the activity a meaningful and enjoyable experience.
Our sincere appreciation also goes to the City Tourism Office of Mabalacat for continuously allowing us to utilize Tabnuan โ Mabalacat City Cultural Center as a venue for our monthly art sessions.
