In requirement for their Social and Professional Issues subject, BSIT 3B implemented a seminar-workshop at Mabini Elementary School and Mabini Barangay Hall. Sharing their knowledge and skills to the students and Barangay officials.

With the theme โ€œDigital Technology: Equipping Student Learners with Digital Skills and Literacyโ€ and โ€œDigital Technology: Equipping Barangay Officials with Digital Skills and Literacy,โ€ the section taught basic and advanced techniques in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace and shared valuable Malware Prevention orientation.

Headed by Lourdes E. Siaton MST-CS (CAR) - BSIT, Program Head.

The other half of BSIT 3A proudly conducted another impactful Community Outreach Program at the Barangay Hall of Maria Clara Integrated School, in collaboration with dedicated barangay officials and officers.

With the theme โ€œE-Barangay: A Digital Governance and Security Empowerment Program,โ€ the team introduced concepts focused on digital governance, data security, and responsible technology useโ€”empowering the community to adapt to a more efficient and secure digital system. ๐Ÿ›๏ธ๐Ÿ’ป๐Ÿ”

This initiative highlights the role of IT students in supporting local communities through technology-driven solutions and awareness, promoting a safer and smarter barangay.
