The Awit Ng Puso Gumaca Diocesan Music Festival with great excitement introduces Mr. Joel A. Boragay โ€” a proud Quezonian conductor whose excellence and dedication to choral music continue to inspire communities here and abroad.

Trained by National Artist Andrea O. Veneracion and conductor Mark Anthony Carpio, Mr. Boragay honed his craft at the Asian Institute for Liturgy and Music, and Centro Escolar University.

He has led the De La Salle Voices and Anima Christi Chorale to prestigious international stages across Asia, showcasing the excellence of Filipino choral artistry. ๐ŸŒ๐ŸŽผ

His distinguished career includes receiving the Best Conductor Award at the 2019 Macau International Choir Festival, and serving as Board Director of the Philippine Choral Directors Association from 2019 to 2022.

We are thankful for his willingness to share his time, knowledge, and heart for music ministry with us. May this gathering be an opportunity for all of us to learn, grow, and serve more faithfully through sacred music. ๐ŸŽถ๐Ÿ™

The Maryhill College Singing Ambassadors, conducted by Mr. Joel A. Boragay, joyfully participated in the Young Adult Apostolate of the Diocese of Lucena by leading the music ministry for the Holy Mass at The Feast Lucena on February 7, 2026 held at the Sentro Pastoral ng Diocesis ng Lucena.

This Catholic gathering of the Light of Jesus Family provided a sacred space for young professionals and faith seekers to encounter God through the celebration of the Holy Eucharist, worship, and fellowship. Through the ministry of sacred music, it helped enrich the liturgy and draw hearts closer to God, contributing to an experience of spiritual renewal and hope.

The Maryhill College Singing Ambassadors, together with their choirmaster, Mr. Joel A. Boragay, rendered sacred songs during the First Thursday Mass.

The holy celebration was held on February 5, 2026 at St. Ferdinand Cathedral and was presided over by the School President, Rev. Fr. Allan Neil L. Laqueo.

Through solemn music and communal prayer, the liturgy was enriched, fostering a deeper spirit of faith, reverence, and unity among the Marian community.
