SLSU CHORALE GENERAL ORIENTATION 2026

After the three-day auditions at the CTE AVR last August 4–6, the SLSU Chorale held its annual General Orientation at the SB Conference Hall inside the Lucban Municipal Hall on August 8 to formally welcome the aspirants who had passed the auditions.

The aspirants were welcomed by the group’s current members, trainees, and some alumni, continuing the group’s annual tradition. During the program, the Executive Committee discussed the group’s history and achievements throughout the years. The group also recognized the hard work of the newly appointed members who had undergone a series of rehearsals and examinations before officially becoming a certified SLSU Chorale member.

Towards the end of the program, the SLSU Chorale’s conductor and artistic director, Mr. Syre Limuel Geminiano, led a mini choral workshop where he discussed the basics and fundamentals of choral music.

The SLSU Chorale extends its warmest gratitude to the Local Government Unit of Lucban Quezon, headed by Hon. Mayor Agustin "Tenten" Villaverde for allowing us to hold our General Orientation at the Lucban Municipal Hall. Thank you so much for your continued support! 💚🎶

SLSU CHORALE AUDITIONS 2026

Last August 4–6, the SLSU Chorale once again opened its doors for its three-day auditions at the College of Teacher Education (CTE) AVR. Aspiring students from different colleges came and shared their talents and passion for singing in the hopes of becoming part of the SLSU Chorale family.

For the students who passed the auditions, their journey with the SLSU Chorale now begins. They will undergo rehearsals and training sessions to further develop their vocal skills, musicianship, and understanding of choral music as they officially enter the group as aspirants.
