TarpSoc TARP Soc stands for "Thespians, Artists, and Researchers for Performance Society".

TARP Soc, or Thespians, Artists, and Researchers for Performance, is our coy way of saying “Due to financial constraints, we always use tarpaulins and just run with the idea of making it as an organization.”

TARP Soc is a group of students and alumni of the University of the Philippines Los Baños who are passionate about theater - its performance and research aspects. And as we’ve experienced, starting, producing, and staging a theater production requires valuable financial
and labor capacity to fully realize the power of theater production. With this endeavor, our rag-tag band wishes to pursue a more inclusive and financially sound stage production.
