SIERRA MADRE, PINAHINA SI KARDING

Nag landfall na sa ikalawang pagkakataon sa Dingalan, Aurora si Karding na ngayon ay ibinababa na ng PAGASA sa typhoon category sanhi ng paghina nito na ang itinuturong dahilan ay ang Kabundukan ng Sierra Madre.

Ang Sierra Madre ang nagsisilbing panangga sa malakas na hangin at ulan sa panahon ng bagyo na nakakatulong upang hindi masyadong maapektuhan ang mga mamamayang naninirahan malapit dito.

Kaya panawagan ng Save Sierra Madre Alliance Network Inc., panatilihin natin ang kagandahan nito sa pamamagitan ng pag-alaga sa ating kalikasan.

Malaking tulong umano ang naibibigay sa atin ng bundok ng Sierra Madre hindi lamang tuwing may bagyo kundi ito rin ang nagsisilbing tahanan ng ating mga kapatid na katutubo kung saan sila kumukuha ng pang araw araw nilang ikinabubuhay.

Sila rin ang nagsisilbing tagapangalaga ng Inang Kabundukan. Kaya tulungan natin sila na pangalagaan ito, dahil ito ang pumoprotekta sa bawat isa sa atin.

Ang buhay na Sierra Madre ay buhay nating lahat.
