Alpha Testing Honor of Kings: World Day 1.
As someone who poured in several hours in the CN version, there are a few things that I noticed right away:
✅ Sprites, and the overall graphics are way cleaner now, and for sure papagandahin pa nila lalo yang movements sa official release.
✅ They skipped a few things pagkapasok mo ng Jixia which is good and eliminates the other unnecessary stuff; IIRC yung quest where Fang's cousin was introduced early, wala na.
✅ Mas solid yung boses ngayon sa intro scene, yung mala-Marvel and may halos complete voice over na si Flowborn
✅ They gave you currencies to get Garo agad and a few cosmetics, obviously to test it out right away
✅ Sabi nila they needed the feedback kasi may in-game survey then and hopefully gawin talaga nila yung mag-iinterview ng players
✅ Pacing is quite nice para sa akin, since targetting a wider market to: not just GI/MH/WMM/WuWa/HOK Moba players or whatevs— after nung tutorials and few Jixia stuff; players can freely explore on their own, that's good
🟡 Other Flows like kay Mulan, Master Luban is not included in this test which kinda svcks pero okay lang, maybe they plan it on a different patch, not including sa v1.0
🟡 Medyo hassle yung di agad ma-launch yung HOKW thru Steam and I can see another problem here in the future sa monetization if lahat dito dadaan; hoping na merong sariling launcher eto kasi Level Infinite naman may handle
🟡 Not including the messaging pebble here sa testing is wild, medyo nagkakapaan mga tao sa World Chat and many players missed also paano gamitin yung messaging pebble before sa CN so hopefully part to ng basics kasi this is quite helpful sa world building, exploration, and engagement ng players
🟡 Puzzles can be better, c'mon man. This is not 2020. Give us harder puzzles to solve, please? Haha
🟡 Sabe sa WC may Gold rank na daw sa PVP tas tinetest ko mag-queue just now before posting this, ayaw na gumana. Idk, baka bukas ayusin na pero goods din to for competitive ppl na gusto mag-PVP kasi u can do it early/skip the grind dahil balanced ung PVP pantay-pantay kayo haha. If PVE person ka naman, don't worry abt it, tho may cosmetics and other anek anek na makukuha dyan
🟡 For sure maaayos naman to, pero madaming instances huli ung buka ng bibig sa dialogue, at sana magka-JP or KR dub haha.
One more thing, if you reach Lvl21 during this test; automatically invited ka sa SUNOD NA TEST. Yeah, may sunod na test pa daw after neto and I can see that they wanna POLISH everything first before release which is perfectly fine than rushing the global.
