Proclaim the good news of God!

The Colony for Artistry and Newfound Visual Aesthetics Skills (CANVAS) was delighted by the number and quality of submissions for the photo manipulation competition.

With a total of 13 entries, the overwhelming response only reinforced the enduring power of photo manipulation.
Here are the Top 3 Winners of “Photo Manipulation: Imagining Brighter Future through Digital Collage.”

First Runner-up " Denice Manguiat"
Second Runner-up " Andrey DeLeon Manalo"

The awarding ceremony transpired successfully under the leadership of the Student Activity Coordinator/Officer-in-Charge for Student Affairs - Miss Marife R. Lupig, together with the Faculty Adviser of Colony for Artistry and Newfound Visual Aesthetics Skills (CANVAS), Mr. Emmanuel Kenneth Potoy.

We would like to express our sincerest gratitude to our Guest Judge -Miss Jeanne Rose B. Hernandez and our Resident Judges – Miss Trisha Pamela Raz, and Mr. Charliemen Pateño.

With this event, a Webinar on Photo Manipulation How to Transform Photos into Digital Collage will take place and will be held via Google Meet on February 18, 2022 (Friday), 01:00 - 02:30 P.M.

This webinar will surely inspire Gracians to understand photo manipulation and transform old photos into an alluring, unexpected, and out-of-this-world new image.

Celebration of National Arts Month 2022

With this year's theme SINING NG PAG-ASA, the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), headed by its chairman, Arsenio "Nick" Lizaso, executive director Oscar Casaysay, and deputy executive directors Marichu Tellano and Bernan Joseph Corpuz, through its Subcommission on the Arts (SCA) led by its commissioner Dr. Rolando Tolentino, leads the celebration of National Arts Month (NAM) this February.

Promulgated by then President Corazon Aquino in 1991, Presidential Proclamation No. 683 declares February of every year as National Arts Month to celebrate artistic excellence and pay tribute to the uniqueness and diversity of the Filipino heritage and culture. This year's theme, "SINING NG PAG-ASA" aims to recognize arts as a source and expression of hope as shown in the creative ways we respond to the effects of the pandemic, natural calamities, and other social realities, as well as the arts' role in improving our community life as Filipinos.

This event will transpire from February 14 to 26, 2022.

Green, orange, yellow, and blue — each of these is a hue, a color, or a shade that's true. A rainbow shows the melting of one hue into another, from red to violet, and all shades in between. Most of the time, the word hue refers to colors, but sometimes it's used for shades of meaning or even the tone of a person's face. Likewise, we have experiences in our life that are so colorful while others are just shades.

As we celebrate World Teachers' Day, share with us your memories with your teacher that makes life vibrant, like colors, or experiences that bring greater significance to your life, like shades.
