About the Musical:

Sining Banwa and The Dawani Project's hit musical -- the crowning glory of Bikol theater -- is back!

Higit sa Pag-ibig, The Musical is set in a fictional community called Barangay Eskwala, an urbang sinking community that is constantly flooded by the rising tide that comes in many forms. Its residents, who are drowning in a sea of social cancer, blame games, and power play, try to survive the ultimate test of sacrifice, love, and friendship.

EM/ JAY is a first-year BSMarE student at Mariner's - Legazpi. He is from Manito, Albay. Paborito niyang comfort food ang sisig, adobo, at sinigang. He loves to listen to love songs. Favorie hangout spot niya ang Cawit Bridge. Fun fact about him - nakukuha niya pang magpatawa kahit injured o mamamatay na. Patingin ng sample! He joined Teatro Marinero dahil nakita niya sa post na pwede ang mga dancers, so dahil nagpapanggap siyang dancer, sumali siya. His greatest dream is to have a stable and peaceful life.

EDMAR is also called Red or Ed. He is a second-year BSMT student from Daraga, Albay. Favorite song niya ang I'll Be by Edwin McCain, dahil 'yan ang pinakanta sa kanya ng magiging girlfriend niya, char. Comfort food niya ang seafood, french fries, and chicken. Pero ramen talaga ang top choice niya. Ang paborito niyang tambayan ay coffee shop or nature wth a nice view. He is kind, gentleman, masungit lang tingnan pero approachable naman. Loyal daw siya sa girlfriend niya kahit di pa niya nililigawan. His dream is to give back to his family who sacrificed to be able to send him to school.

LOUIE loves to listen to Jessa Zaragoza, Air Supply, Apo Hiking, and other OPM hits. He is a third-year BSMT student at Mariners' - Legazpi. When in his hometown in Mobo, Masbate, paborito niyang tambayan ang kwarto. Here in Legazpi, kahit saan, basta kasama ang tropa. Paborito niyang pagkain ang Angel's burger, spaghetti, adobo, at pansit guisado. Marami ba? Hindi pa 'yan! Mahilig din siyang mag-experiment sa pagkain - pansit with Mang Tomas and ketchup, or saging with vinegar and labuyo. He dreams of becoming a successful seafarer someday, build his own business, and help his family.

WAR/ REN is from Masbate City and now in his second year under BSMarE program at Mariners' - Legazpi. Comfort food niya ang barbecue. Nasa playlist niya ang mga bagay na dapat tapusin. Just like Nash, mahilig din siyang tumambay sa sea wall. He joined Teatro Marinero to enhance his skills. He wants to be successful at makasampa sa international vessel. Fun fact - gusto niya ng katahimikan, pero siya itong maingay!

BENJ is a chocolate lover and a third-year BSMT student at Mariners' - Legazpi. He listens to classical and instrumental music. He says he is a perfectionist and can say bad things when in bad mood, but make no mistake, he is really friendly. He already had theater experience back in high school. He also sings and dances. Sample nga! He is from Catanduanes, at habang nasa Legazpi, paborito niyang tumambay sa bahay ni Arron sa Andamar Citihomes.
