The stoner, doom, sludge scene is an emerging music scene in Albay, if not - the whole Bicol Region. A music subgenre with down-tuned guitars, slow tempo, fuzz-laden, crushing bass with hazy hypnotic bluesy grooves often combined with retro themes, psychedelia or even raw stripped down dark themes. Think about the 60's or 70's sound that's riff-based and heavily inspired by the hippie/stoner culture.
A culmination and melting pot between metal, punk, blues, rock and psychedelic music!

It is an up-and-coming local scene in the region and there are underground records already released under this great sounding genre! Here's a guide to the pioneering bands and releases of Bicol's stoner/doom/sludge music:

Debut EP release from our brothers in Polusyon!! Another stoner sludge record from Bicol/Rizal.

Polusyon really made it clear what they have to offer in this record: thick, dirty and fu**in' straight in your face heavy, sludgy riffs and raw vocals! Be drenched in their filthy, polluted sound!!
