WCOPA 2018 multi-medalist Aljun Cayawan, also known as Datu Agong of the Agusanon Manobo tribe, leads the opening show of the 2026 Palarong Pambansa held at Agusan del Sur on May 24, 2026.

The chant and the performance showcases the rich culture and history of Agusan Marsh.

The air was thick with joy and cheers earlier today as the second batch of Team Philippines headed into their U.S. Visa interviews—and walked out with a 100% passing rate. It’s official: they’re headed to Las Vegas to represent the flag. With the hard part over and the dream within reach, there’s only one thing left to say: “Las Vegas, ano, tara?”
