Laurel wreaths have always been a victory and triumphs since the Greeks and Romans, but it also represents wisdom, intellect and resilience. Very fitting for a first tattoo!

As always, did it freehand to make the whole piece flow along the contours of the body much better.

And that’s completely okay.

Life gets busy. Work gets busy. Schedules don’t always line up.

For bigger tattoos, I actually prefer giving the piece the time it needs rather than trying to force everything into one or two extremely long sessions.

Breaking it into multiple appointments means the skin has time to heal, the client has time to recover, and we can approach each session with fresh eyes and a fresh canvas.

Most importantly, you don’t have to rearrange your entire life just to finish a tattoo.

Good work takes time and sometimes that time is measured in months, not hours.
