Look | CDLN ROTC UNIT 3RD TRAINING WEEK

On 01 August 2026, the CDLN ROTC Unit successfully conducted its 3rd Training Week with a total attendance of 162 cadets and cadettes.

Before the start of the lecture, the second batch of ROTC uniforms was distributed to the qualified cadets and cadettes in an orderly and organized manner.

The lecture on "AFP & PA Organization" was facilitated by SSg Elmer W Hali (Inf) PA The discussion provided the cadets and cadettes with a better understanding of the organizational structure, roles, and functions of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and the Philippine Army (PA). The instructor also emphasized the importance of discipline, teamwork, and commitment to service as future reservists.

The activity was conducted through an interactive lecture and active participation from the cadets and cadettes. The training concluded successfully and further enhanced the participants' knowledge and appreciation of the organization and mission of the AFP and the Philippine Army.

WHERE: CDLN Campus

PROPER WEARING OF UNIFORM

FOR MALE CADETS:
📌 Wear the prescribed ROTC uniform and cap.
📌 Wear a plain white T-shirt if your uniform has not yet been issued.
📌 Haircut must be 0/2 (Army Cut).
📌 Wear blue or black maong pants only. Ripped jeans are strictly prohibited.
📌 Black garrison belt.
📌 White socks.
📌 White rubber shoes (any color may be worn if white shoes are unavailable).
📌 White handkerchief.
📌 Fingernails must be clean and neatly trimmed.

Note: Mustaches are not allowed.

FOR FEMALE CADETTES:
📌 Wear the prescribed ROTC uniform and cap.
📌 Wear a plain white T-shirt if your uniform has not yet been issued.
📌 Wear blue or black maong pants only. Ripped jeans are strictly prohibited.
📌 Black garrison belt.
📌 Hair must be in a bun with a hairnet.
📌 White handkerchief.
📌 White socks.

Distribution of the 2nd Batch of ROTC Uniforms will also take place during the training.

Look | CDLN ROTC Unit 2nd Training Week

What:
The CDLN ROTC Unit conducted lectures on "Military Leadership" and "AFP Core Values" , followed by the distribution of First batch CDLN ROTC uniforms to cadets and cadettes.

Who:
A total of 174 cadets and cadettes participated in the training. The lectures were conducted by Sgt Duarte, Alwin B (RES) PA for "Military Leadership" and Sgt Bantilo, Ronald L (RES) PA for "AFP Core Values" .

When:
The activity was held on 25 July 2026 during the scheduled ROTC training.

Where:
The activity was conducted at the CDLN ROTC CAMPUS.

Why:
The lectures aimed to develop leadership skills, discipline, integrity, patriotism, and a deeper understanding of the AFP Core Values of Honor, Service, and Patriotism among cadets and cadettes.

How:
The training was conducted through classroom lectures, discussions, and active participation. After the lectures, ROTC uniforms were distributed to 51 cadets and cadettes. The activity concluded successfully, strengthening the knowledge, discipline, and military values of the participants.

ORIENTATION l JULY 11, 2026
A successful ROTC Orientation was conducted on July 11, 2026, formally welcoming new cadets as they embark on their transformative journey of discipline, leadership, patriotism, and service.
The orientation program introduced the organization's goals, mission, and core values, while underscoring the significance of teamwork, responsibility, and commitment in cultivating responsible citizens and future leaders.

The Colegio De Las Navas (CDLN) Reserve Officers' Training Corps Unit (ROTCU) successfully conducted its 1st Training Week for Basic ROTC cadets and cadettes.

When:
On 18 July 2026, at exactly 0630H.

Where:
At the Colegio De Las Navas (CDLN), Las Navas, Northern Samar.

Who:
The activity was attended by 167 Basic ROTC cadets and cadettes, under the supervision of the CDLN ROTCU training staff.

Why:
The training was conducted to develop the cadets' and cadettes' discipline, leadership, teamwork, and military knowledge and skills in accordance with the ROTC training program.

How:
The activity commenced with the assembly of cadets and cadettes, followed by attendance checking, formation, and the conduct of the scheduled training activities. The training was facilitated by the CDLN ROTCU training staff and was carried out in an organized and disciplined manner, ensuring the active participation of all 167 cadets and cadettes throughout the session.
