There was a time I couldn’t even hold a pencil.
I’d sit in front of a blank canvas for hours, hoping something — anything — would come out.
But nothing did.

I felt like everyone else kept moving forward.
Creating, improving, growing.
And me?
Parang naiwan ako… stuck in the same spot, carrying the weight of doubt.

I started to ask myself:
“Was I ever really good at this?”
“Maybe I already peaked.”
“Maybe I wasn’t meant for this after all.”

But somehow… in the silence, in the stillness,
I realized that resting isn’t quitting.
That sometimes, we break not because we’re weak —
but because we need space to rebuild.

And here I am… slowly trying again.
This is not a comeback.
This is a continuation. A quiet restart. A promise to myself.

This is my first art after a long pause.
My first post in a while.
And maybe, just maybe, the first step toward becoming better — not than others, but better than who I was yesterday.

To anyone feeling left behind —
you’re not alone.
