Philippines (Global Initiative In Venture Entrepreneurship Philippines) and the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Global Entrepreneurs 1% Club Cambodia.
Held on Wednesday evening, May 27, 2026, at the elegant Jpark Island Resorts and Waterparks Maribago in Lapu-Lapu City, the event highlighted the growing connection between Filipino and Cambodian entrepreneurs who aim to create opportunities beyond borders.
One of the highlights of the evening was the presence of Engr. Jill Heng, CEO of InnovateX Cambodia, President of the Global Entrepreneurs 1% Club Philippines Chapter, and Co-Founder of G.I.V.E. Philippines. In her message, Engr. Heng spoke about the importance of building strong partnerships, encouraging innovation, and helping entrepreneurs grow not only in business but also as leaders in their communities.
The ceremonial signing of the MOU symbolized more than just a formal agreement. It represented a shared commitment to support aspiring entrepreneurs, startups, and business professionals through mentorship, networking, leadership development, and international collaboration between the Philippines and Cambodia.
Organizers shared that the partnership aims to open more doors for entrepreneurs by creating a platform where ideas, experiences, and opportunities can be exchanged. The initiative also hopes to empower young innovators and strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the ASEAN region.
