Becoming Better after Experiencing the Bitter

“Counting our blessings is far better than recounting our problems.” ~Pres. Russell M. Nelson

We must recognize and remember the good in our lives. Gratitude allows celebration of the present, blocks toxic emotions, and strengthens social connections. In times of turmoil, when we keep focused on deepening our faith and trust in God, we can see the bigger picture in life and feel supported in our trials, troubles, and afflictions.

Heavenly Father has promised that if we will not harden our hearts against Him during our trials, we will be both converted and healed.

Thank you for publishing this Mr. David Schramm. May God continue to keep you each day! God bless us all.

The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing;
But the soul of the diligent shall be made fat.

We want so many things and plan to have this and that but never act upon those things that we want. Sometimes we are the same with the sloth, “I’ll do it later”. But tonight, this verse (Proverbs 13:4) telling us to start act and refrain from procrastination. Don’t just crave things, you have to work towards them. Remember the story of a diligent ant who doesn’t wait for food instead he store and continuously work hard.
Do not be sluggish but strive to be diligent, not only concerning the things of this life but concerning the things of the Lord.

YOU HAVE A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TODAY! Work harder than anyone else then you’ll obtain everything you need and you will be happy.

God bless us all! ✨🤍

The scriptures says, that dreaming about those vain things are meaningless. Our body never stops dreaming at anything. It always longs for all things that are materialistic. As it is rightly put, our body always chase the wind for the sake of vanity. Our insatiable desires of flesh and want of luxuries do not strengthen our spirit.

That’s why, this verse (Ecclesiastes 6:2-3) reminds us not to desire what we do not have.

May we learn to glorify God by enjoying what we have been provisioned by Him. Even it may be little or meagre, but what is given by God brings happiness and joy to the body and soul alike. May we understand that it is more important to appreciate quality rather than quantity. We don’t need to keep on trying and add on. What we have is the very best. Let us consider what Apostle Paul said, let us also be fully confident that our God will meet all our needs. Stop chasing the wind, God is our greatest source, remember?

Godbless us all! 🙌🏻

THE GREATEST AMONG YOU SERVES ✨ (Luke 22:26-27)

Jesus was the the eternal Son Who was given by the Father to redeem humanity. Jesus was also the lowly child Who was born to save His people from their sins. Jesus was One Who was eternally begotten of the Father and yet He graciously laid aside His glory to become the Servant of all, by willingly giving His life as a living sacrifice, as an example of perfect humanity. Jesus did all this and more, so that He could die on the cross as the ransom price for the sin of the world.

Those of us who are born from above should take Christ as our perfect example of sacrificial servanthood and consecrate our life as a living sacrifice - holy and acceptable to God. May we seek to live a life of dignity, greatness, humility, grace and service to others.. as we die to our own self-importance and self-interest.. and seek to be more Christ-like.. knowing that He came amongst us as one Who serves - to the glory of God.

NO PAIN NO GAIN

We desire for a good grades, we dream to have a huge house, we aim to have a perfect relationship but are we doing our part diligently? Often, we are too lazy. We spend our time watching unnecessary videos, reading not instructive book and forget to pay attention on what is more more important. We love harvest but we are not doing our part. We are closely the same with the man in Book of Proverbs, we did not want to work during the autumn. We have wanted a harvest. But we got none because we did not plow in the autumn.
Again, everyone of us love to reap good fruits. No one ever dreams of the non-harvest life. No one dreams of being an outcast by others. No one desire to have low grades. But no all people loves plowing. We easily gets tired, we always complain and we don’t want to face hard times. However, we must understand the truth-we mist work. Before a good career comes an education. Before attaining a healthy body you need to have self-discipline. Even when you don’t feel it , work hard. Remember Jesus work hard during hard times. He had to suffer the agony of the cross. He had to die in our place so he could wash away our sins by his blood. And Jesus' cross was the hardest work anyone has ever done or will do. That was his autumn, and he worked during that hard time.
If you think you can’t do it and seems like your only choice is to give up, please hold on to His promise. The Spirit of Christ within us can strengthen us to work hard like Jesus, even when it's costly or painful to do so.

Proverbs 20:4 The sluggard does not plow in the autumn;
fhe will seek at harvest and have nothing.

THE CARPENTER/FOSTER FATHER
Joseph's repeated obedience and protective measures are a guide to all of us.

Decision making is quite difficult for everyone of us. It takes courage, energy and time to weigh tremendous choices. But in Matthew 1:24 we can see that Joseph chose obedience after the angel appeared to his dream (vs20) and took Mary home to be his wife instead of pursuing his plan- to divorce Mary. Rather than exposing the “great sin” of Mary, he wanted to put her away secretly and to avoid public shame.

His decision reminds us that we must have that kind of obedience as a Christians. Though things might sometimes confusing and scary, we can have the confidence that God has always in complete control.

May we begin to trust God wholeheartedly and obey Him undoubtedly.
Gobless us all. Shalom!🤍✨

LONG POST AHEAD; THE CONTENT IS IN HILIGAYNON TAKE TIME TO READ ☺️
Wisdom of this world might help you win the day, BUT GOD’S WORD WILL LEAD YOU TO ETERNAL LIFE.

Masami mas na attract kita sa mga butang nga manami, bag-o, kakaiba sa aton mga mata. Dayon kita ga husga. Gahatag dayon kita sang aton konklusyon maskin waay gani kita kabalo sang matuod-tuod nga puno o kung ang gi-umpisahan.
Amo man ako sina kis-a di ko mapunggan nga mag hatag opinion kag mag kumpara.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. ( Colossians 3:16)

PEOPLE THAT SEEM TO HAVE IT ALL, DON'T ALWAYS.
❌ (Stop being envious) PART 1 LESSON FROM THE LIFE OF NAAMAN

Everybody has an issue. Everybody is battling with one issue or the other in his life. People may look at someone and say they wish they were in his shoes, but they do not know where the shoe is pitching him; they do not know the battles he is fighting; they do not know he is being bothered by some problems. Not all that glitters is gold. Life is not a bed of roses – even roses have thorns. Every strong man has his weakness.

Naaman was a mighty warrior, but he had a problem in his life – he was a l***r. His leprosy was not even hidden to his house maid (2 Kings 5:2-3), the king and, probably, the entire army he was leading and the whole nation. What a humiliation!

In Bible days, leprosy was a dreaded contagious and incurable disease. Victims were usually quarantined – they were not allowed to live in the city. It could be possible that Naaman’s leprosy had not advanced to a serious one or was not a severe one.

You do not have to envy anybody; do not wish you were somebody else. If you know what others are going though, you will see that nobody is exempted from the challenges of life. With faith in God, make the best use of your life. It does not matter the negatives in your life; God in you will turn around everything in your life.

Nobody is perfect. However, your faith in God will give you victory – it will overcome the challenges of life world (1 John 5:4).

Choose to be generous - to go out and water someone whose spiritual life is dry and barren. Go out and bless someone else who could never repay you for what you are about to do. When you do this - you will soon learn the truth of this passage. You will be prosperous spiritually - and - you will find yourself being watered by God Himself for your generosity - and by your willingness to adopt His character as your own.
