BREAKING NEWS | 𝗕𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶 𝗪𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗹𝘆𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

After three days of intense competition from May 18 to 20, Unit IV Bagani Warriors emerged as the overall champion of Unilympics 2026 after dominating multiple sporting events and securing the highest score tally throughout the tournament.

The winning unit is composed of USM-Kidapawan City Campus, College of Health Sciences, College of Veterinary Medicine, College of Education, and University Laboratory School.

Their victory capped off a strong and memorable campaign in this year’s Unilympics.

𝗨𝗦𝗠 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗦𝗶𝗹𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝘁 𝗣𝗔𝗦𝗨𝗖 𝗡𝗖𝗔𝗙 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

Going up against top student musicians from state universities and colleges nationwide, the SOCCSKSARGEN Region delegation, represented by the University of Southern Mindanao – Kidapawan City Campus (USM-KCC), secured the Silver Award in the Live Band Competition during the 2026 Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC) National Culture and Arts Festival (NCAF), held on April 8 at Quezon Hall, Iloilo City.

Coach Engr. Rhett Sean P. Pomares shared that the band’s success was rooted in collaboration and discipline.

“We built the piece by listening to everyone’s ideas until we reached an agreement. I prepared their individual pieces, then adjusted kung saan sila mas comfortable. And during practice, I helped them stay focused and composed,” he said.

The group is composed of Charmel Alimento, Morven Jubahib, Alyzza Marie Laus, Kurt Glen Satera, Clarence Arandilla, Shamjay Sarona, and Ash Jorge Ugay, proudly representing SOCCSKSARGEN on the national stage.
