A proud milestone for Kawit as the Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Evo City has been named a finalist at the prestigious World Architecture Festival (WAF)—one of only 416 finalists selected from around the globe.

Designed by Dominic Galicia Architects, the church beautifully weaves together sacred geometry, theology, and contemporary architecture. Inspired by the Vesica Piscis, its thoughtful design reflects the harmony of the spiritual and physical realms, while its orientation and natural lighting create a meaningful worship experience.

The project will be presented before an international jury during the World Architecture Festival on November 18–20, 2026, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Congratulations to the Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Dominic Galicia Architects, and everyone behind this remarkable achievement. Your work continues to showcase Kawit as a place where faith, culture, and world-class architecture come together.
