Is your candle tunneling?

Use aluminum foil to fix it!
I didn't trim the wick before lighting the candle to prevent it from drowning once the wax around it melts.

Another (easier) alternative is to use the oven (80°C) for around 5 minutes or until the the top wax has melted. Then scoop out excess wax (if needed).

Each soap bar is made the old-fashion way (lye+water+oils = saponification). This process leaves the glycerin intact making your skin soft and moisturized after use! Glycerin is a natural humectant that is found in handmade soap. It attracts moisture from the air and keeps our skin hydrated.

Some commercial bars remove the glycerin which is why these bars leave the skin dry, they then use the glycerin for other products like lotions and creams.

Why use Soy Wax?

Store bought candles typically use paraffin wax - a petroleum by product created when crude oil is refined into gasoline. When burned, it will release highly toxic benzene and toluene (both are known carcinogens).
Soy wax on the other hand is made from soybean oil, an environmentally friendly, renewable resource making it a cleaner alternative to paraffin wax. It also burns slower, meaning you'll get a candle that lasts longer.
