Marianne Lacorte's work is deeply rooted in personal narrative, serving as a reflection of my life, memories, and lived experiences. She views her art as a form of self-exploration, where my personal history acts as the initial spark for creation. Recently, her practice has been evolving. While her works begins with personal, she now wants to explore and expand its scope about social and psychological themes.

While painting is her primary medium, she is currently expanding into mixed media and sculptures. Transitioning into three-dimensional space allows Marianne to give tangible weight and texture to these complex emotional and social themes, making it something physical that audiences can interact with.

Marianne Lacorte is part of Spotlight2027, a selection of young, up-and-coming artists from different walks of life, chosen for their potential, drive, and artistic direction.

Mark Lemuel Noromor, also known as LEMWELP, is a Cavite-based graphic artist that specializes in Visual Art and Traditional Drawing. He creates works that are rooted in the beauty of observing, translating what the human eye can capture from a millisecond, and understanding how tones, shadows, emotions, and details can be perceived.

"Welp" is an expression of disappointment or exhaustion, like a sigh when things have not gone as hoped. But Lemwelp sees it as a human experience, one that humorously sticks their tongue out amidst the harsh realities of the world. Showing a playful narrative that tells us to embrace the journey, every "welp" along the way.

Lemwelp is part of Spotlight2027, a selection of young, up-and-coming artists from different walks of life, chosen for their potential, drive, and artistic direction.

Ness Sheen began her journey with ceramics as a student of the University of the Philippines Diliman - College of Fine Arts. She fell in love with the whole process, from making her own clay, forming wares and sculptures, formulating glazes, and learning about different kinds of firing.

Ness made a name for herself making jewelry and small vessels under the Ceramics by Neshoi line. Even with her smaller works, one can appreciate the artistry and energy behind them, giving us hints of her actual potential. We are excited to see what she comes up with for the Luneta Art Fair.

Ness Sheen is part of Spotlight2027, a selection of young, up-and-coming artists from different walks of life, chosen for their potential, drive, and artistic direction.

Miguel Ordono is an architect, academic, and heritage advocate who listens to the city through the tip of his pen. A graduate from the University of Santo Tomas and currently taking his Master’s at the University of the Philippines, Miguel's art is an exploration of his academic background, his passion for heritage and history, and his artistic skills.

Through his work with Renacimiento Manila, Manileños 4 Heritage, and Urban Sketchers Manila, he champions the capital’s vanishing soul. His art, a blend of Impressionist light and Surrealist dreamscapes rendered in ink and watercolor, is both an intimate conversation with Manila’s architecture and a vibrant manifesto for its future.reflecting his commitment to documenting and conserving Manila’s soul.

Miguel Ordono is part of Spotlight2027, a selection of young, up-and-coming artists from different walks of life, chosen for their potential, drive, and artistic direction.
