The first three.
After finishing my first cardigan, I knew I wasn’t done.
There was still so much I didn’t know—and, looking back, that was part of the fun. Each new project became another opportunity to try something different, make mistakes, solve problems, and understand the craft a little better.
First came the navy blue and cream cardigan. Then the rust-orange summer shirt. Then the neutral mesh shirt.
Three garments. Three very different projects. And with each one, I became a little more confident with my hook and a little more curious about what I could make next.
What I love most about looking back at these early pieces isn’t whether every stitch was perfect. It’s remembering the excitement of making something with my own hands—and realizing that I wanted to keep going.
These were only the beginning.
And the journey continues, one stitch at a time.
