“To the One Who Changed Sides”

You used to speak the truth.
You warned me about them.
You saw what I saw—the red flags, the patterns, the harm disguised as friendship.
You were the one who said, *"They’ll never change. They don’t know how to value people."*
You stood beside me when I chose peace over pretense, when I walked away from the damage.

But somewhere along the way, that changed.

Not because they became better.
Not because the story shifted.
But because we disagreed.
And instead of standing on the truth you once defended,
you crossed over to the very side you warned me against.

Now you sit beside them.
Now you echo the same silence, the same shade you once helped me call out.
You act like history never happened.
Like their actions never hurt.
Like your words didn’t once match mine.

That’s not loyalty. That’s convenience.
That’s not growth. That’s compromise.
And it stings—not just because you switched sides,
but because you abandoned the truth you once believed in.

Let me say this:

I don’t need an army to stand in truth.
I don’t need your validation to know who I am.
I see what you chose, and I release it.

Because alignment rooted in bitterness will never blossom into anything real.
And friendships built on shifting ground will always fall apart.

I still stand where I stood—
with peace, with clarity, with self-respect.
I didn’t switch sides. I just stopped choosing people who never truly chose me.

So go ahead. Let your loyalty be flexible.
But mine stays where the truth lives.
And that's where I’ll always remain.

Keep your pace, not their pressure. What’s meant for you will arrive right on time—God’s time.

To Those Who Tried to Ruin My Peace

You thought your silence would silence me.
You thought your games, your twisting of truth, your performative righteousness would leave me questioning myself.
But here I stand—clear, steady, and unshaken.

You didn’t ruin me.
You exposed yourselves.
You showed me who you really are when no one’s watching—
not protectors of truth, but architects of illusion.
You weren’t seeking peace—you were seeking power.
And when that power slipped through your fingers, you chose destruction over accountability.

Let me be clear:
You didn’t discard me—I walked away.
You didn’t outsmart me—you revealed your limits.
You didn’t break me—you freed me from the burden of giving grace to people who never valued it.

I gave loyalty.
I gave truth.
I gave my heart, even when it hurt.
And you treated that as weakness.
But now you see—it was strength.

I don’t need to match your chaos.
I don’t need to shout louder or fight dirtier.
Because peace is not something you gave me—
and it’s not something you can take away.

You can keep your stories, your masks, your curated versions of reality.
I’ll keep my growth.
I’ll keep my clarity.
I’ll keep my power.

This is the part where I rise—
not in anger,
but in freedom.

Maybe one day, peace will be louder than the questions.
