Been gone for a while!

But didn't really stopped doing calligraphy.

Recently I've been busy with a lot of stuff (family, home, business, studies, etc) and I found myself slowly getting overwhelmed.

So I paused for a while and started to organize my thoughts and told myself I don't have to feel overwhelmed.

I just have to do what I can do and trust that God will do the rest.

Right?

I was yet again reminded of the sovereignity of God, of His might and power. I was reminded of how absolute He is and how He controls ALL of creation.

God is sovereign over nature. He is the Creator, therefore He controls His creation. He sent flood in Noah’s time, made the sun stand still in Joshua’s time, turned the Nile River into blood, sent a raven to feed His prophet Elijah, and used a donkey to convict Balaam.

God is sovereign over nations. He overthrew the cities of S***m and Gomorrah, defeated Pharoah’s army in the Red Sea, and used King Nebuchadnezzar, King Darius and King Cyrus to bring about His purpose.

Most of all, God is sovereign over our lives. He can redeem us of our past. He can reverse the curses in our family. He controls our circumstances so we would look at Him and put our sercurity in Him. He sent His son Jesus Christ to redeem us and reconcile us back to Him. He takes us and nothing and no one can ever take us away from Him because He is sovereign and nothing and no one equals His might and power.

If this is the living God, the Creator, the Sovereign One, then I can trust in Him and rest in Him, and therefore I should worship Him.

Have you ever tried writing love letters? Have you ever received one?

Well I did! Some of the letters I received were carefully written on nice stationery, some looks like they’ve gone through a lot before finally reaching me 😅

But isn’t it the person who gave it that matters? If that person is close to your ❤️? Like even if he/she used scrap paper, you’d still feel happy to receive that letter! 😂

But what if your special someone sends you a letter that’s carefully and beautifully written by hand? Romantic, don’t you think? Wouldn’t you feel so loved and extra special?

I certainly would! I’d surely be careful opening it and I’ll absolutely be keeping it so I could read it over and over again in the future! 😁
