Happy World Art Day! 🎨🌍

There’s no better way to celebrate the power of creativity than by nurturing the next generation of storytellers. Today, April 15, we successfully wrapped up the 2nd batch of our Basic Eco Drawing Workshop at the cozy Café Gloria!

Our participants dived deep into the world of visual storytelling, guided by our amazing facilitators: Hermz Gacho, Gab Bañas, and Mon Moderes. From learning the fundamentals of sketching to understanding how art can be a powerful tool for environmental advocacy, it was a day filled with inspiration and "creative revolution."

🎨🌿 Art Meets Advocacy in Guimbal!

Yesterday, April 11, Pasyon Komiks successfully held our Basic Eco Drawing Workshop at Project Palabasa Community Library in Brgy. Particion. We spent a vibrant day with creative 10-to-12-year-olds, exploring how visual storytelling can champion environmental protection and celebrate Ilonggo heritage.

A massive thank you to our partners for their vital support: Project Palabasa Community Library, Archo Films for the documentation, Solar Generation Pilipinas, and Stop Ecocide International.

PUNGSOD SANG LAWOD

Pungsod sang Lawod (Country of the Sea) is a short film by Ocean Trekkers directed by Arsen Vargas and Celestine Robles about Man and his pursuit of replacing nature's creation. Starring Jezrel Agudo, the film follows a conqueror eventually reaching his limits.

The film won 3rd place last 2021 in a national short film festival by Oscar M. Lopez Center.
