Back in March, Ma’am Christie Anne Ramos invited Theatre Kids Collaborative to workshop her theatre class. Today was the grand finale, and of course they pulled it off.

We loved seeing every workshop drill come to life on stage. From terrified beginners in March to full-blown stage actors today, the transformation was real and loud.

Huge thanks to Ma’am Christie for the invite and for believing we wouldn't break her students. To the performers, you nailed it. Bravo! 🎭

Tanghalang Pilipino, the resident drama company of the Cultural Center of the Philippines, is coming to Iloilo City to stage the hit steampunk musical Mabining Mandirigma.

The musical follows the life of Apolinario Mabini, who served as President Emilio Aguinaldo's adviser and maintained fierce integrity despite his paralysis. By utilizing steampunk elements and casting a woman in the lead role, the production explores the complexities of being "othered" due to gender or disability.

Mabining Mandirigma will run for one day only on April 29, 2026, at the USA Auditorium, University of San Agustin, Iloilo City, with a Matinee at 2:00 PM and a Gala performance at 7:00 PM.
