There are seasons in life when the shadows feel endless, when the weight of loss, doubt, or despair settles like dust in the soul. This work was born from such places, not to glorify the darkness, but to acknowledge it. Because only when we name our night can we begin to search for the dawn.

Look for the Light is a journey on canvas, a testament to the quiet, stubborn hope that flickers even when everything else fades. Here, light is not just a glow; it is an act of defiance. It is the courage to keep going when the road is uncertain, the faith to believe that healing can bloom in the cracks of our brokenness.

Every brushstroke carries both shadow and illumination, a reminder that they cannot exist without each other. The depth of the dark gives meaning to the brightness, and the brightness gives purpose to the dark. In this interplay, we see ourselves our struggles, our triumphs, our longing to be seen, known, and understood.

To the artist, this is a confession and a prayer. To the viewer, it is an invitation: Do not turn away from the darkness, but also, do not linger there. Search for the small glimmers,the ones tucked in the edges of your day, in the kindness of a stranger, in the warmth of a memory. They are there. They have always been there.

Because the light is not just something we find it is something we choose, again and again. And in choosing it, we create it.
