Mindanao needs us right now. 🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷

It was supposed to be the first day of school for many students, but a Magnitude 7.8 earthquake shook Maasim, Sarangani. The strong tremor was also felt in General Santos, Kidapawan, and other areas in Davao.
Let us all come together to extend our compassion. Our partner organizations are ready to mobilize to provide aid. Let's help speed up the relief efforts—any amount is a big help for those affected by the disaster.

That’s what you get for saving lives.
For giving hope to those who were thrown away, abandoned, neglected, and abused.
For turning pain into healing, fear into trust, and death into second chances.

And yet — instead of support, you’re met with threats, violations, and penalties.
₱500,000 and 6–12 years in prison…
for the “crime” of compassion.

Last Thursday, we traveled from Bataan to the DENR Main Office in Quezon City, and today, we journeyed once again from Bataan to the DENR Regional Office III in San Fernando City, Pampanga.

All these long travels — only to be brought back to the same person who once rejected and denied Ms. Susan Espinosa the due process she rightfully deserved.

Tomorrow, we will proceed with an ocular visit to potential relocation sites that can house the 200 rescued animals of DBHASA.

By November 5 or 7, we will be holding a conference meeting with the concerned agencies of the Provincial Government of Bataan to establish a holistic approach toward this pressing issue.
