25TH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME ✨

Human math relies on earning what we think we deserve based on merit or effort. God’s kingdom relies on grace, mercy and radical generosity.

None of us can work our way into heaven or claim we deserve salvation. God’s abundant pardon is a free gift given out of love, welcoming both the lifelong faithful and the “latecomer” with the same open arms. 🥰😇

People may see us singing at Mass and think everything in our lives is okay.

But behind every voice is a story. Some come to serve while carrying worries about family, work, finances, health, or struggles no one else knows about.

Jesus said, “Take up your cross and follow Me.” He didn’t say we had to finish carrying it first.

We follow Him while carrying it.

Sometimes we come to rehearsal tired. Sometimes we sing with a heavy heart. But somehow, while we offer our voices to God, He also strengthens us.

A hymn becomes a prayer.
A rehearsal becomes a reminder.
And a tired voice becomes part of something beautiful.

We don’t serve because life is perfect.

We serve because God is faithful.

So through every note, every struggle, and every cross, we keep singing, serving, and following Him.

Let’s continue to ask for God’s grace to help us forgive, especially when forgiveness feels difficult. in Ordinary Time

May He soften our hearts, heal the wounds we carry, and give us the strength to let go of anger and resentment. Forgiveness may not always come easily or happen all at once, but with God’s grace, may we learn to choose peace, little by little. 🙏

May we also remember the mercy God continually shows us, and allow that same mercy to flow through us toward others.
