This National Flag Day, Partido State University joins the Filipino people in honoring the national flag, first unfurled following the Battle of Alapan on May 28, 1898, as a symbol of the Filipino struggle for independence.

As ParSU pays tribute to the Philippine flag, the University reaffirms its commitment to nurturing a community grounded in patriotism and public service that is rooted in awareness, responsibility, and active citizenship—values essential in strengthening democratic institutions and national development.

Just as our flag has stood resilient through history, may every member of the ParSU community continue to uphold its ideals through excellence and meaningful service to Partido and beyond.

The National Commission for Culture and the Arts joins the nation in celebrating International Women’s Day and National Women's Month, a time to honor the strength, leadership, and enduring contributions of Filipino women. 🇵🇭✨

In line with the call of the Philippine Commission on Women, this year’s celebration invites Women and Everyone (WE) to advance gender equality and women’s empowerment through a whole-of-government and all-of-society effort. With the sub-theme “Lead like the Babaylans, Filipinas!”, we are reminded of the powerful legacy of the Babaylans of pre-colonial Philippines; women leaders whose influence was rooted in knowledge, empathy, and moral guidance. 🌿

May this celebration inspire us to recognize and uplift the many ways Filipino women lead—with courage, care, and conviction—in homes, communities, and across the cultural landscape.
