The HTC โ Handuraw Dance Ensemble proudly represented Holy Trinity College and emerged as 2nd Runner-Up during the Local Meet of the GenSan PRISAA Folk Dance Competition 2026, held at the Notre Dame of Dadiangas University Covered Area 1 on February 14, 2025.
This achievement reflects the teamโs dedication, discipline, and passion for preserving and showcasing Filipino culture through dance. With grace and pride, the team brought the vibrant spirit of Chavacano de Zamboanga to life, honoring the rich heritage of the Chavacano people through every step, formation, and expression on stage.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the entire HTC Community for your overwhelming support, loud cheers, and unwavering encouragement. Your presence and energy fueled our performance and inspired us to give our very best.
Our sincerest appreciation goes to our School Administrators for their full support, trust, and belief in our team. Without your guidance, approval, and continuous encouragement, this opportunity would not have been possible. Your leadership and commitment to nurturing studentsโ talents allowed us to stand on that stage with confidence and pride.
Our deepest thanks also go to Sir Jhong Cadil for his invaluable critiques and guidance in refining every detail of the choreography; to Sir Mark Angelo Blasabas for his dedication and assistance throughout our preparations; and to Sir William M. Badiang, LPT, Socio-Cultural Coordinator, for his exceptional leadership, creativity, and artistic vision in shaping this team into what it is today.
To the team, This milestone is not just an awardโit is a testament to our unity, perseverance, and love for the art of folk dance. We may have earned the title of 2nd Runner-Up, but in heart, experience, and growth, this victory belongs to all of us. The journey continues, and we will keep dancing with pride, purpose, and bring the true Trinitarian spirit. Let's goโWildcats!๐
