We, the senior and junior artist of the Busilak Theater Ensemble, the official theater company of Mount Carmel College, have seen the intense and the massive mass media influences in our society today. We recognize that such canned superficial entertainment cause mental corruption on the part of the viewers especially the youth whose young minds are the most susceptible on this subtle yet, very ma

nipulating trend. WE agree that such unstoppable obsession towards this kind of entertainment hinders our community from identifying and developing real talents and potentials of our youth. As such, we envision a group of interested and determined individuals, to create a cohesive organization that will provide a venue for our talented youth for personality development and will surely encourage them in showing their skills and potentials in all kinds of art particularly in theater. We come to form a group, driven by our Carmelite discipline and charism, to cater not just the artistic interest of its artist-member but also to promote patriotism and social vigilance through its cultural performances and productions all through out Filipino society.
