Si Dr. Alice Tan Gonzales isa ka retirado nga propesor sa UP Visayas. Nagasulat sya sang mga malip-ot nga sugilanon, binalaybay, kag drama sa pulong Hiligaynon. Sang 2014, nakaagum sya sang Palanca Hall of Fame. Duha ka libro sang iya mga malip-ot nga sugilanon nga iya ginbadbad sa Ingles ang ginbantala sang UP Press.

Ginaagda namon ang mga kabataan, ginikanan, kag tanan nga mahilig sa sugilanon nga mag-upod sa amon sa Hulyo 18 (Sabado), alas singko sang hapon, sa Magnet Gallery, Salas Street, Barangay Tambobo, Dumangas, Iloilo.

Magkitaay kita para sa isa ka makalilingaw nga hapon sang pagbasa kag sugilanon!

Tomorrow at Magnet Gallery & Café

Stories have a way of finding their audience.

Join us for the 2nd Interactive Storytelling with Rhoda Braganza-Burdett as she brings to life Ang Kuring ni Mayin, a beloved children's story by Noel G. De Leon, illustrated by Gil S. Montinola. Young listeners are invited to imagine, participate, ask questions, and become part of the storytelling adventure.

Eager to share this story with our young visitors, Mrs. Burdett graciously stepped in to lead tomorrow's session. We are delighted to continue the program with her and look forward to an evening filled with stories, laughter, and imagination.

Sweet prizes await some of our most active participants!

Magnet Gallery is pleased to present Digest, the first solo exhibition of Krys Balmaceda, opening on June 14, 2026.

Krys is an artist, occasional writer, and a practicing ophthalmologist based in Iloilo City. She has participated in group exhibitions at Museo Iloilo, Aspace, Altro Mondo Creative Space, and Artinformal Gallery in Metro Manila. With Digest, she presents her first solo exhibition, a personal milestone and a thoughtful body of work shaped by observation, reflection, and the quiet process of making sense of what we take in.

We hope you can join us for an afternoon of art, conversation, and community as we celebrate this special occasion with the artist.
