PHILHEALTH SERVICES TO A REMOTE BUKIDNON VILLAGE 📣 A total of 465 residents of Barangay Kibongkog, San Fernando, Bukidnon, most of them members of the Tigwahanon Manobo tribe, received PhilHealth registration and primary healthcare services during an outreach activity on July 2.
Philippine Health Insurance Corporation Region 10, in partnership with the Municipal Government of San Fernando, conducted the Yaman ng Kalusugan Program (YAKAP) Caravan to expand access to healthcare services in remote areas where residents face limited access to hospitals, clinics and other essential health facilities.
Residents availed themselves of PhilHealth and YAKAP registration, First Patient Encounter, medical consultations, laboratory services and free medicines during the caravan.
Barangay Kibongkog is among the province's most remote communities, making access to healthcare difficult for many residents.
