Stop Doing This If You Want Better Designs.

One of the biggest mistakes beginner designers make is trying to make every design look more "creative" by adding more fonts, colors, effects, and graphics.

In reality, too many elements make your design harder to understand.

Instead, focus on these fundamentals:

1. Limit your fonts.
Use one or two fonts only. Too many font styles create inconsistency and make your design look unprofessional.

2. Choose a simple color palette.
Stick to 2 to 4 colors that work well together. Consistent colors make your design look more polished and strengthen your brand.

3. Use white space.
Not every part of your canvas needs to be filled. Giving elements enough space improves readability and helps important content stand out.

4. Create a clear visual hierarchy.

There are things we keep postponing, believing there will always be a “tomorrow” to handle them. But time does not wait for readiness or certainty.
